If God made all beings, then God made me, and God made me gay. I hated myself for a long time because of this fact, I denied myself happiness and the right to express my true feelings. Why? Because society told me that gay is wrong, that being gay meant not being accepted and living in fear. The truth is, being gay is about as important in shaping me as a person as being blonde with blue eyes. It does not make me any less of a person, it does not affect my ability to be kind or loving, it does not change the fact that I am a human being who deserves the same rights as anyone else. Being gay is just a tiny part of me, and it is no reason to torment, judge or scrutinise anybody. Be kind to one another, love gets your further then hate.
